Chester Branch Railroad Rehabilitation
The County of Morris has acquired and received federal authorization to rehabilitate the four mile rail line extending from Wharton and terminating in Roxbury Township that has traditionally been known as the "Chester Branch."
Project Status: On November 24, 2009, the County of Morris received Federal Authorization to begin to incur and seek reimbursement from the State for construction costs associated with the Chester Branch Railroad Rehabilitation project.
